My photography is about observing a familiar place in all its moods. Noticing how the ever changing light makes a familiar view different every time. Getting out in temperamental weather, at dawn or dusk and seeing trees, flowers and wildlife alter with the passing seasons.
There are two places I spend a lot of time, Stroud on the edge of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire and Llangrannog on the Cardigan Bay heritage coast in west Wales. I never tire of taking my camera out for walks in the either of these areas.
People are always saying to me - when are you going to get around to selling your photographs. So here's the answer, it starts now with this website and a set of Llangrannog landscape photographs taken over the past two or three years.
I try to visit Llangrannog as often as possible and experience all the seasons and all the elements. I expect many more pictures to become available over the next year, I'm working on a set of panoramic images and more spectacular stormy scenes.
It's all about the light
Sometimes an image only exists for a fleeting moment, by a mixture of careful planning and good luck I try to be in the right place at the right time to capture some special light. I hope you enjoy these photographs.
